BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is hereby amended so as to rezone: A tract of land located in the 1500 and 1600 blocks of Washington Street, being on the northwest line of Washington Street southwest of East Main Street. Lots 3-8, block 1, Montague's Addition No. 1, as shown by plat of record in plat book 2, page 34, ROHC; being the properties described in deed book 3592, page 644, ROHC, and the properties described as tracts 4 and 5 in deed book 3413, page 128, ROHC. Tax Map No. 145LC-B-20. from R-3 Residential Zone to M-2 Manufacturing Zone. SECTION 2. BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this rezoning shall be subject to the following conditions: 1. The owner shall maintain a 6 foot sight-obscuring, wooden, decorative fence along Washington Street or alternatively may plant and maintain sight obscuring foliage which shall be at least 6 feet in height in three (3) years. 2. After three years, no equipment or material will be stored which exceeds the height of the barrier except that such storage may exceed these height regulations provided that for every one (1) foot of additional height over the barrier, the storage shall be set back one (1) additional foot from the barrier. SECTION 3. BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this Ordinance shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, as required by law.
